PRO Category – Cash prizes for the first six women and the first six men in the PRO category [PLN]:

Competitors participating in the PRO category do not compete in the age group categories.

Participants wishing to compete in the PRO category are requested to select the appropriate classification during event registration. (License verification for PRO athletes will be conducted by the organizer).

What are the rules for granting PRO licenses?

1. A PRO license is issued to youth or senior category athletes eligible to hold an SSM/PRO license.
2. A PRO license is also awarded to athletes competing in the Age-Group category based on their sports results obtained during the current or previous season, in accordance with the following criteria:

– In the middle-distance (1.9-90-21.1), to men who achieved a time below 4 hours and 15 minutes, and women who achieved a time below 4 hours and 45 minutes.

– In the long-distance (3.8-180-42.2), to men who achieved a time below 9 hours, and women who achieved a time below 10 hours.

3. A PRO license may also be granted by PZTri (Polish Triathlon Federation) upon the request of an interested individual based on an assessment of the athlete’s sports level.
4. An athlete holding an SSM/PRO license in the Junior Younger, Junior, U23, Elite/Pro/Senior category is obligated to participate in sports competition in the PRO category or in their age group category in accordance with the SSM classifications. In the event that there is no competition organized in the PRO category or in specific SSM categories, the athlete may compete        in category Age Group.
5. The PRO license is granted for the current calendar year (until December 31st of that year).
6. There is no possibility to resign from the PRO license during the calendar year.
7. An athlete who holds an Age-Group license in a given season and decides to change to the PRO category during the season is required to surrender their Age-Group license.

Financial prizes are provided in Polish Złoty (PLN). Cash prizes are tax-exempt up to the amount of 700 PLN. Above this amount, a 10% tax will be deducted.

Athletes awarded cash prizes in the PRO category will receive their prizes via bank transfer by the end of October 2023 to the specified bank account. To facilitate this, athletes are requested to visit the race office with the received voucher to complete the necessary documentation.

Prize pickup can only take place during the concluding awards ceremony.

**The organizer reserves the right to reduce the prize amounts in the PRO category if the number of participants in the PRO category is insufficient. Participants will be informed of such changes via email no later than two days before the event.

• • Age categories for women and men: 18-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+ – trophies for 1st to 3rd places (no financial prizes are provided in the age categories).

• • Every race finisher receives a commemorative medal at the finish line.

PRO Category – Financial prizes for the top three women and the top three men in the PRO category [PLN]:

Athletes competing in the PRO category do not participate in the age group competition. The right to be assigned to this category is reserved exclusively for athletes with a valid PZTRI license.

Individuals wishing to compete in the PRO category are requested to select the appropriate classification during event registration.

Financial prizes are provided in Polish Złoty (PLN). Cash prizes are tax-exempt up to the amount of 700 PLN. Above this amount, a 10% tax will be deducted.

Age categories for women and men: 18-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80+ – Trophies and small material prizes for 1st to 3rd places.
