FEES

Amount of the fee for the athlete package

The fee includes:

Timing chip
Professional timing for each of the race disciplines and transition areas
Waterproof race number for attaching to a belt or strap
Stickers with the race number for the bike and helmet, as well as a commemorative sticker
Water bottle
Commemorative medal at the finish line
Professional medical support
Water safety for the swimming leg provided by lifeguards with floating equipment
Event supervision by licensed PZTri judges
Longsleeve*

*For participants in the race (meaning individuals who start from the swimming leg), a long-sleeve finisher’s shirt with the event logo is provided. This gift is exclusively for the first 1000 participants who registered for the event and paid for their race package according to the conditions specified in the regulations. Individuals who did not participate in the race do not have the right to receive this gift, and there is no option for it to be collected by third parties. For participants who did not register during the first pricing tier, the long-sleeve shirt will be available for purchase until the end of March in the event registration panel at a cost of 150 PLN.

Competitor package

The fee includes:

Waterproof start number for attachment to a belt/strap
Stickers with start numbers for the bike, helmet, and a souvenir sticker
Event-branded water bottle
Commemorative finisher medal
Professional medical support
Lifeguard supervision of the swimming stage with water safety equipment
Event supervision by licensed PZTri judges

After registering, the fee can be paid directly upon registration or after logging in to the registration panel using the login and password provided during registration through the tpay.com electronic payment system. The entire payment process is determined by the payment operator, and the agreement is concluded with the entity indicated by the payment operator.
For event participants (defined as individuals who start and participate in the event starting from the swimming stage), a finisher long-sleeve shirt with the event logo is provided. This gift is only available to the first 1000 participants who registered for the event and paid for their start package in accordance with the conditions specified in the regulations. Individuals who did not participate in the event are not entitled to receive this gift, and there is also no possibility of its collection by third parties. For participants who did not register in the first price tier, the long-sleeve shirt will be available for purchase until the end of March through the event’s registration panel at a price of 150 PLN.
Refund of the participant package fee in case of withdrawal

There is no possibility of a refund of the fee paid if the participant did not purchase cancellation insurance or choose to defer their registration to the next year.
It is possible to pay a cancellation fee for withdrawal from the event at 30% of the participant package fee. The cancellation fee can only be paid at the time of registration for the event.
Requests for cancellation should be sent to zapisy@tritour.com.pl within 30 days before the event date.
After submitting the request, a full refund of the participant package fee, minus the cancellation insurance, will be made to the account from which the payment was made within 60 days of the request. However, every effort is made to make the refund earlier.
There is no possibility of deferring the fee to the next year.
There is no possibility of collecting the full participant package by anyone other than the participant listed on the starting list.
Unclaimed participant packages during office hours at the event will be forfeited.
It is possible to transfer the fee to another participant after paying a handling fee of PLN 20 and paying the difference in registration fees to the current fee level (as of the date of the change).
Unclaimed participant packages are not sent out during or after the event and will be forfeited.

Competitors participating in the PRO category do not compete in the age group categories.

Participants wishing to compete in the PRO category are requested to select the appropriate classification during event registration. (License verification for PRO athletes will be conducted by the organizer).

What are the rules for granting PRO licenses?

A PRO license is issued to youth or senior category athletes eligible to hold an SSM/PRO license.
A PRO license is also awarded to athletes competing in the Age-Group category based on their sports results obtained during the current or previous season, in accordance with the following criteria:

– In the middle-distance (1.9-90-21.1), to men who achieved a time below 4 hours and 15 minutes, and women who achieved a time below 4 hours and 45 minutes.

– In the long-distance (3.8-180-42.2), to men who achieved a time below 9 hours, and women who achieved a time below 10 hours.

A PRO license may also be granted by PZTri (Polish Triathlon Federation) upon the request of an interested individual based on an assessment of the athlete’s sports level.
An athlete holding an SSM/PRO license in the Junior Younger, Junior, U23, Elite/Pro/Senior category is obligated to participate in sports competition in the PRO category or in their age group category in accordance with the SSM classifications. In the event that there is no competition organized in the PRO category or in specific SSM categories, the athlete may compete in category Age Group.
The PRO license is granted for the current calendar year (until December 31st of that year).
There is no possibility to resign from the PRO license during the calendar year.
An athlete who holds an Age-Group license in a given season and decides to change to the PRO category during the season is required to surrender their Age-Group license.

Athletes competing in the PRO category do not participate in the age group competition. The right to be assigned to this category is reserved exclusively for athletes with a valid PZTRI license.

Individuals wishing to compete in the PRO category are requested to select the appropriate classification during event registration.

Financial prizes are provided in Polish Złoty (PLN). Cash prizes are tax-exempt up to the amount of 700 PLN. Above this amount, a 10% tax will be deducted.

Age categories for women and men: 18-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80+ – Trophies and small material prizes for 1st to 3rd places.

Every race finisher receives a commemorative medal at the finish line.

Athletes awarded cash prizes in the PRO classification will receive their prizes in the form of a bank transfer by the end of October 2019 to the designated bank account. To facilitate this, athletes are requested to report to the race office with the received voucher to complete the necessary documentation.
